one mom
Birdie's first birthday was a marker for me than it was for her. I mean, I didn't know what to expect for either of us. I realize now that getting through the first year as a mom is... something. In celebrating Birdie's birthday, I felt a sort of validation take place. There were no awards or cheques in the mail recognizing my 'accomplishment' but I certainly felt like I earned something.

Getting thru the first year as a mom..........is.......HUGE! I am now coming upon the 4 year mark as a mommy. It gets better and more rewarding every year, actually, every day as a mom is more rewarding than the day before.
I am so glad that we are doing this mom thing at the same time. It's fun and you are a great at it!

I am amazed everytime I watch you as a mom. You are a wonderful mom. Actually you and Angelo are amazing parents. Imogene is flourishing with the help of your parenting skills.

Enjoy every minute, good or bad, as the time flies by very quickly... my babies are grown with babies of their own, and I am one proud mom and Oma of what you have accomplished so far,to say the least!
